Kristen Ayers, MSW, LISW-S
Kristen Ayers is an LISW-S with over 14 years of clinical experience. A 2011 graduate of The Ohio State University, Kristen combines academic rigor with extensive field expertise.
Kristen’s clinical background is deeply rooted in geriatrics and end-of-life care. She spent nearly a decade as a hospice social worker, gaining specialized knowledge in dementia, chronic illness, and the complex family dynamics surrounding grief and loss. Currently, she offers services via a virtual private practice specializing in ADHD for adults and older adults, and is an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider.
As a supervisor, Kristen draws from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. She is dedicated to helping supervisees develop a "well-rounded" clinical style—balancing technical skills with the emotional resilience needed for long-term success in social work.
